Trust and betrayal

Do you believe in trustworthiness? I did and I still do. The little word “worth” says it all, a person you look up to is worthy of your trust and you give that unconditionally.

Only what happens when that person is not quite open and honest? When you find out that the only goals that person is pursuing are goals that feed his own ego and disregards the emotional needs and creative urges of all others? When that person entices others to make wrong job or life decisions to satisfy his very own selfishness?

All I can say is, pity that person, forgive him his egotistic way of thinking and stay away from him. Find people that support you and help you to make decisions based on factual arguments, not on a single person’s will. It is never good to feel caged in, not even in a golden cage.

Freedom to me means finding my own way to be creative and / or useful. I wish everybody the same opportunity!
